Los Pistoleros Motorcycle
Club
Los Pistoleros Motorcycle Club (LPMC) was
founded in 1972 making it one of the oldest law enforcement motorcycle
clubs in Texas. The original
members were a group of Austin Police Department officers that shared a
passion for motorcycles, a rebellious spirit and disregard for the
“status quo” of the time.
Riding “iron steeds” that were highly modified via extended front ends,
ape hangers and engine modifications, the club made an instant impact in
the biking community. Much
to the chagrin of the Department’s upper echelon and management, the
club was successful in attracting additional; members and getting
community recognition for its charitable contributions and service.
The core values of the LPMC have remained
the same throughout our history: the fostering of a “brotherhood” that
shares common bonds of motorcycling, law enforcement and corrections
experience, community activism and patriotism.
Our community service continues to this
day through our adoption of needy families during Thanksgiving and
Christmas holidays, member involvement in “The Patriot Guard” and
sponsorship of a charitable Poker Run.
We are proud of our heritage and we are
embracing the future with the same passion and commitment.
LPMC full membership is open to current
and retired law enforcement officers.
